The Postgraduate Program in Biometrics and Applied Statistics has a single area of concentration, entitled "Biometrics and Applied Statistics", which serves the masters and doctoral profiles.

The research lines, which are within the only area of concentration, are:

Modeling and Computational Methods: Line of research focused on the development of theoretical models and statistical and computational methods, which deal with the collection, processing, analysis and prediction of natural phenomena.

Applied and Experimental Statistics: Line of research oriented to the design of experiments and / or to the application and evaluation of statistical techniques (uni and multivariate) and computational classic or alternative (emergent) that aid in the collection and processing of data and decision making in Research in agronomy and related fields.
